MamaOra Fertility Tribe™

Where African women navigate fertility — together.

Created by Jane Ogidigo

A free, intentional community for African women navigating fertility, preconception, IVF, assisted reproduction and reproductive health — with honest conversations, science-informed education and women who understand the journey.

Start where you are. You don’t need to be preparing for IVF to belong here.

Why this exists

There is information everywhere. But very few places to navigate the journey together.

There is information everywhere.

Opinions everywhere.

Stories everywhere.

But fertility can still feel incredibly lonely.

MamaOra Fertility Tribe™ was created to give African women a place to ask questions, share experiences, understand what they are hearing and connect with other women navigating similar seasons.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you join.

  • Not another noisy WhatsApp group.
  • Not another fertility course.
  • Not a place where everyone is expected to figure everything out alone.

A place to belong.

Four African women sit together in armchairs around a coffee table, laughing and talking in a bright, plant-filled room.

The rhythm

Your week inside MamaOra

The Tribe is designed to be useful without becoming another noisy group you have to keep up with.

  • MON The Fertility Conversation. A question or topic that gets the community talking about something women are actually experiencing.
  • WED Fertility, Explained. A science-informed conversation around a fertility or reproductive-health topic women commonly find confusing.
  • FRI The Check-In. A simple space to say how you’re actually doing — beyond test results and treatment plans.
  • MONTHLY MamaOra Fertility Circle. A live community conversation around a real fertility experience, challenge or stage of the journey.
  • FROM TIME TO TIME Selected expert conversations with trusted professionals across reproductive health.

Before you join

Still have questions?

What if I’m not ready for IVF yet?

Then you are in the right place. The Tribe is for women at every stage — thinking about fertility, trying to conceive naturally, preparing for treatment, or making sense of a cycle that didn’t go to plan. You do not need a treatment plan to belong here.

Is MamaOra only for married women?

No. The Tribe is for any woman navigating fertility, whatever her relationship status.

I live outside Nigeria — can I still join?

Yes. The Tribe is African in origin and global in reach. Everything happens online, so where you live doesn’t limit what you can be part of.
