Who we are
MamaOra Fertility Tribe™ is run by MamaOra Technologies Limited, Lagos, Nigeria. You can contact us about your data at mamaoracommunity@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you complete the MamaOra Tribe Fertility Check-in™, we collect:
- your first name, email address, WhatsApp number, country, and birthday (day and month only)
- your age range, and your answers about where you are in your fertility journey, any conditions you have or suspect, what you have experienced and what you would like help with
- whether you are happy to be contacted for feedback on new MamaOra ideas
Some of these answers relate to your reproductive health. We treat them as sensitive information and only collect them with your consent.
Why we collect it
- to welcome you into the Tribe and contact you about it, including sending birthday wishes
- if you agree, to invite you to share feedback on new MamaOra ideas
- to understand what women in the community need, so conversations, sessions and resources are relevant
- to shape future MamaOra services, using answers in grouped, anonymous form only
We do not sell your information. We do not use your answers to diagnose you, and we do not share your individual answers with clinics, employers or anyone else.
Where it is stored
Check-in answers are stored securely in MamaOra’s Google account (Google Sheets) and with our website provider, Netlify. Both may store data outside Nigeria. The Tribe itself runs on WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy. Only authorised members of the MamaOra team can access your answers.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you are part of the Tribe. If you leave or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it, except where we must keep it by law.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email mamaoracommunity@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as we can.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page.
